Baseball: Burt sets Dawson County record with 19 strikeouts

DAWSONVILLE -- Logan Burt made history on Wednesday, fanning 19 East Hall batters to lead Dawson County to a 4-0 win over the Vikings in Dawsonville.

Burt also allowed just two hits and two walks in the shutout.

Meanwhile, senior Colton Chester enjoyed his last home game as a Tiger, crushing a two-run home run. Levi Whitmire also had two hits at the plate.

Dawson County will wrap its season on Friday at Buford.
