Baseball: Trojans rebound from loss with win over Banks Co.

HOMER -- McCoy Savage had three hits to lead a 13-hit attack as North Hall rebounded from a loss to Buford on Tuesday with a 14-2 victory in five innings over Banks County Wednesday in Region 7-AAA.

Lincoln Hewett had two hits, including a home run, and two RBI for the Trojans. Micah Stickland and Corbin Lewallen each had two hits and two RBI and Andrew Smith also had two hits for North Hall.

Josh Hammond got the win on the mound going scattering five hits and allowing just one earned run.

North Hall, which will take the No. 2 seed from 7-AAA into next week's Class AAA state tournament, will close out its regular season Thursday against East Hall on Senior Night.
