Golf: Lady Elephants finish second at Brookwood Invitational

SNELLVILLE -- The Gainesville girls golf team finished second at the Brookwood Invitational Saturday.

The Lady Elephants finished with a team total 236 behind Class AAAAAA defending state champion Lambert.

Meg Callahan carded a 76 to lead gainesville. Morgan Reece had a 79 and Ashleigh Bishop an 81 for the Lady Elephants.

Gainesville next will play in the Region 8-AAAAA Tournament on Thursday at Chattahoochee Golf Club.
