GAINESVILLE - Dr. Michael H. Lebow and his staff cut the ribbon on a new Dialysis Access Center Friday, April 18.

Dr. Lebow arrived at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in 2008 and was the founding medical director of EVOR, designing the current system in which patients with dialysis access complications can be admitted directly to outpatient surgery rather than being admitted to the hospital via the Emergency Room.

"This new office-based system is designed not only to improve the quality of a patient's dialysis access, but also to improve the quality of the patient's life," said Dr. Lebow.

"Access Gainesville has been specifically designed with the dialysis patient in mind. We feature two full-time ultrasound technologists, a state of the art endovascular suite and a full service vascular clinic staffed Monday through Friday."

The new office is located on Thompson Bridge Road in Gainesville next to Gainesville Dialysis and just down the road from Lake Lanier Dialysis.
