Hall Co. Earth Day observances underway

GAINESVILLE - The first of several Earth Day observances planned in Hall County was held Wednesday on the University of North Georgia's Gainesville campus.

The topic was "Turning Waste Plastics into Fuels to Power a Greener Nation" and featured guest speaker Jeff Goldof Nexus Fuels.

Other events scheduled over the coming days include:
