The 40 lap feature started with Smith and LaMance on the front row. At the drop of the green LaMance took the hole shot on the outside lane jumping out to the point. While LaMance was making quick work on the field, battle for second was intense as Smith and David McCoy did battle.
Meanwhile, Drew Benefield from Toccoa, GA battled with Grant Jordan, Corey Gordon and Colby Cannon further back in the running order.
The lone caution of the event flew on lap 13 when Jordon Dill spun off turn one. He was able to continue.
On the restart, LaMance used the inside lane on Smith for the double file restart, and he pulled away from Smith and McCoy as the race got into closing laps. As LaMance again checked out, Kenny Collins closed on McCoy and Smith to make it a three car battle for second.
At the checkered flag, it was LaMance scoring the victory, with Smith in second, McCoy in third, and Collins in fourth. Corey Gordon would edge Jordan at the finish line to capture the fifth finishing position.
