OAKWOOD - Lanier Technical College (LTC) hosted a Manufacturers Forum on Workforce Sustainability Wednesday, titled: "How do we supply the future worker who is prepared for a career in manufacturing?"

More than a dozen local major manufacturers - including Milliken, SKF, Cargill, King's Hawaiian, and others - took part. Local school systems also participated, as did a number of community leaders and officials from Lanier Tech.

The discussion and working lunch focused on "developing and sustaining" a more competitive workforce for the community.
