Baseball: Flowery Branch blasts Clarke Central 14-2

FLOWERY BRANCH -- The Flowery Branch baseball team dominated Clarke Central 14-2 on Tuesday in Flowery Branch.

Trevor Ruth earned the win on the mound for the Falcons, pitching 5 innings and striking out seven batters.

Jonathan Hughes helped pace Flowery Branch at the plate, going 2 for 3 with three RBI and a triple. Justin Seabolt also went 2 for 3 with two RBI, while Andrew Nolt had an RBI and a double. Dylan Gibeau drove in two runs, and Stephen Skeggs finished 2 for 3.

Flowery Branch will next play at Clarke Central at 5:55 p.m. Wednesday.
