Lumpkin's Emily Garner claimed the discus with a throw of 95-feet, while Syndey Kinard won the long jump 15-6.5. Kele Howerton also cleared 8-0 to win the pole vault.
Meanwhile, the War Eagles owned the mile on Monday, as Jack Carnes won the boys race, finishing in 4 minutes, 47.06 seconds and Maggee Wilson claimed the girls gold in 5:46.53. Logan Brock also finished third in the boys race (4:54.35), while Sarah Beth English was third in the girls race (5:52.72). Stephens County's Deanna Lewis was also second (5:48.65).
The 8-AAAA championships will finish up with the sprint event and 3,200 finals on Wednesday in Monroe.
