GAINESVILLE - A Dahlonega woman will make her first court appearance Tuesday afternoon in connection with an incident that left two Chicopee Elementary School students injured.

Megan Daniels is accused of driving her car around a Hall County School bus that was stopped on Griffin Lane, allowing children to exit the bus. Authorities said Daniels drove around two other cars to pass the bus, and then she fled the scene after striking a girl and a boy. Neither child sustained serious injuries.

Charges again Daniels include: running school bus stop sign, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to report an accident, driving on a suspended license, passing on a solid yellow line and failure to maintain lane.

Daniels is being held on $18,200 bond.

Her first court appearance is scheduled for Tuesday at 2 p.m.
