GAINESVILLE - Paint cans, and thus paint, being transported by a Lowe's truck spilled onto the northbound lanes of Thompson Bridge Road (Highway 60) Saturday afternoon causing traffic on the four lane to be merged into two lanes.
The spill happened just in front of Thompson Court Shopping Center.
It l was not the result of an accident, no one was injured in the traffic incident, and the Lowe's flatbed truck pulled into the turn lane separating the north and southbound lanes following the spill.
The roadway was reopened by mid-afternoon.
