Tickets on sale for 'Pancakes for Paws' fundraiser

GAINESVILLE - Tickets are now available for a breakfast fundraiser at Applebee's in Gainesville on Saturday, May 3 to support the Hall County Animal Shelter.<br /> <br /> The price to participate in Pancakes for Paws is $7 and includes three pancakes, two sausage links and beverages. The fundraiser includes two seating times: 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. Ticket buyers are asked to specify which seating time they will attend at the time their ticket is purchased. Tickets can be purchased at the Hall County Animal Shelter, located at 1688 Barber Road or in the 4th Floor Administration office of the Hall County Government Center, located at 2875 Browns Bridge Road. <br /> <br /> Applebee's is located at 1705 Browns Bridge Road.<br /> <br /> Also, Mutts on Main, another fundraiser to benefit the Animal Shelter, will be held this Saturday, April 12 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on the downtown Gainesville Square. (This was postponed two weeks ago because of rainy weather.) The event will include a Models and Mutts Fashion Walk at noon and a Pet Contest, featuring a Best Dressed, Best Trick and Look-Alike winner, at 1 p.m.<br /> <br /> In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to visit with a number of vendors at the pet expo and get their pet micro-chipped and vaccinated against rabies.
