Coleman Pressley grabs first Pro Cup win at Hickory

NEWTON, NC - Late race entry Coleman Pressley took advantage of a fading Caleb Holman in the final six laps of Saturday night's X-1R Pro Cup Series Catawba Valley 250 at Hickory Motor Speedway in Newton, NC to score his first career series win in just his fourth series start.

Holman was able to hold on to the runner up position and the championship points after winning the season opener at Southern National two weeks prior. Reid Wilson, for the second straight race, rounded out the podium with his third place finish.

Pressley, whose day job is calling the shots for NASCAR K&N East Series competitor Makenna Bell each week, decided late in the week after getting caught up on work to bring his #59 family owned machine to Hickory. The end result was exactly what the satisfied Pressley had hoped for
