Ritchie most recently worked as a Customer Service Representative for Freudenburg NOK in Cleveland. In addition to serving as clerk for Habersham County, she also previously worked as a Royalties Accountant and Billing/Order Entry Specialist for Infor Global Solutions in Alpharetta and as an Accounts Payable Specialist, Human Resources Clerk and Payroll Clerk for Truett-McConnell College.
The commission clerk directs the activities necessary to prepare for Board of Commissioners meetings and dispenses information regarding decisions and actions of the Commission. She prepares the agenda and minutes for meetings, maintains permanent county records, and serves as the Board's intermediary with the public, other elected officials and departments.
Ritchie begins work on April 7.
She replaced Melissa McCain who resigned earlier this year to take a position at clerk for the City of Flowery Branch.
