DAWSONVILLE - "Teen Brain Explained" is an event later this month in Dawsonville which will tackle the problem of teenage drinking.

Hosted by Dawson County Family Connection, the campaign slogan is "Be the Key" which promotes parents and adults as the solution to underage drinking.

There is no charge to attend. It will be held Tuesday, April 15, at 7:00 in the Dawson County High School Auditorium. Organizers say there will be snacks, door prizes and free childcare (but you need to call 706-265-1981 to arrange for childcare)
