UNG sophomore softball player Courtney Poole collected her second Peach Belt Conference AstroTurf Pitcher of the Week honor of the season on Tuesday following a week in which she posted three wins and save.

In four appearances in the circle for the 15th-ranked Nighthawks, she allowed just one earned run in 20 innings of work. The sophomore walked five and struck out 16 for a 0.35 ERA.

She tossed two seven-inning complete games, starting with a 2-1 win over Georgia College, allowing the one earned run on seven hits. She followed that up with a five-inning complete game in a 9-1 win over UNCP, allowing just one hit and striking out eight. She went the full seven in the opener against FMU, striking out four in a 4-1 win and then returned to toss a perfect seventh inning to get a save in an 8-5 win over the Patriots.

Poole leads the PBC in complete games and is fourth in ERA, third in wins and fifth in strikeouts.
