GBI charges Elbert man with child exploitation

ELBERTON - An Elberton man is behind bars, facing six counts of sexual exploitation of children.

Christopher Wayne Harrison, 44, was arrested by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation on March 26.

"We received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that Harrison had uploaded some child pornography," said GBI spokeswoman Sherry Lang on Monday. "We did a search warrant at his residence on March 26. Child pornography was found on his computer. He was arrested."

Additional information about Harrison's bond was not available Monday.
