Iraq War veteran reported missing

KENNESAW - Authorities from both Cobb and Cherokee counties are searching for a 26-year-old man missing since last Thursday.

Family members have posted information on Facebook, indicating they are searching for Chase Tyler Messner. He was reported missing by his wife, according to authorities.

Messner is reported to be a veteran of the Iraq War. He has two children. Authorities said family members told them it was unusual for Messner to disappear without telling someone where he was going.

Family members said there hasn't been any bank activity since Messner's disappearance They have formed a Facebook group to help organize the search.

Massner is described as being 6 feet, 2 inches tall, weighing about 175 pounds. He has short dark hair and brown eyes. He has three tattoos: a treasure chest, an angel and his last name "Massner."
