Federal investigators say Michael C. Densmore repeatedly called an employee of the U.S. Army Human Resource Command at the military post and threatened acts of violence as he complained about an insurance problem.
U.S. Army Det. Keith Williams said the calls were made on March 18 and 19. During the first call, Densmore told the employee ``... I will come up there and put a bullet in your ... head,'' Williams said.
Densmore called back a few minutes later and acknowledged the threat in a conversation overheard by a supervisor in the office, Williams said.
After a second threat, investigators called Densmore to seek an interview. Densmore replied ``I will not be compliant'' and threatened any military police officer that tried to interview him, Williams said.
Williams said at least once, Densmore threatened to go to the employees home in Rineyville, Ky.
Later, Densmore called the employee again and left a message saying ``Complacency kills and you are complacent,'' Williams said.
Densmore, who formerly lived in Clarksville, Tenn., is charged with communicating a threat and threatening a federal officer.
Federal court records did not list an attorney for Densmore. Attempts to reach him were unsuccessful. No hometown or court date were listed for Densmore.
