Rain moves NASCAR Truck race to Sunday at Martinsville

MARTINSVILLE, VA - After trying all day to ride out the rain, NASCAR officials have announced that Saturday's NASCAR Camping World Truck race at Martinsville Speedway has been pushed to Sunday evening, following the NASCAR Sprint Cup race.

Two NASCAR Sprint Cup practice sessions were also cancelled due to the wet weather.

The rescheduled Truck Series event will run at approximately 5:30 pm Sunday afternoon following the NASCAR Sprint Cup STP 500.

Sunday's forecast at Martinsville calls for a 40% chance of precipitation.

WDUN will have live MRN Radio coverage of the NACAR Sprint Cup Series STP 500 from Martinsville Speedway in Martinsville, VA on Sunday beginning at noon on 102.9 FM and at 1 PM on 550 AM.
