CORNELIA - Habersham County had a confirmed rabies case recently and one at the end of December.

For that reason, animal care and control officials want to give county residents a convenient opportunity to get their pets vaccinated.

"Due to our recent confirmed rabies case, we will be having a rabies clinic on Saturday the 29th at Tractor Supply in Cornelia," said Madi Hawkins, Habersham County Animal Care and Control director.

One-year vaccinations by Cornelia Veterinary Hospital will be offered from 1-3 p.m. for $10.

"Keep your pet safe - vaccinate," Hawkins said. "And remember, it's Georgia law!"

Tractor Supply Co. is located at 310 Habersham Hills Circle, Cornelia.
