Baseball: Johnson pushes past Monroe Area on Grizzle RBI

OAKWOOD -- The Johnson baseball team took a 4-3 decision over Monroe Area on Wednesday in Oakwood.

Payden Grizzle put the Knights ahead for goof with an RBI in the bottom of the fifth inning.

Asher Griffith tossed a complete game in earning the win, allowing two earned runs and striking out four.

Griffith also finished 1 for 2 at the plate with an RBI, while Chandler Cochran led the Knights at the plate, going 2 for 3 with a double and an RBI.
