Gainesville boys lacrosse rips Meadowcreek, 9-2

GAINESVILLE -- The Gainesville boys lacrosse team defeated Meadowcreek 9-2 on Monday at City Park in Gainesville.

Triston Wimpye and John Wagner each led the Red Elephants with three goals, while Austin Graybeal scored twice and Bill Hood once, as Gainesville picked up its fourth victory of the campaign.

Sam Terray also had seven saves in goal.

Gainesville travels to face Buford at 6 p.m. Thursday.
