Cold snap, windy conditions ahead for North Georgia

PEACHTREE CITY - With the official start of Spring and a few days of warmer weather, National Weather Service forecasters are predicting a return of winter-like conditions this week.

The weather service issued a wind advisory from noon to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday. A freeze warning goes into effect from 12:00 a.m. Wednesday until 9:00 a.m. Wednesday.

The advisory and warning includes Fannin, Gilmer, Union, Towns, Pickens, Dawson and Lumpkin counties. It also includes White, Forsyth, Hall, Banks, Jackson, Madison, Gwinnett and Barrow counties.
