GAINESVILLE -- North Hall got a measure of revenge on Friday.

The Trojans paid Dawson County back for their only blemish of the Region 7-AAA season so far courtesy a 9-0 victory at Jody Davis Field in Gainesville.

Brandon DeLong earned the win on the mound for North Hall (7-4, 5-1 Region 7-AAA), pitching 6 1/3 innings while allowing just two hits and striking out six Tigers batters.

Meanwhile, Andrew Smith kept up his torrid pace at the plate, going 4 for 4 with two RBI, while Matthew Cox went 3 for 3 with two RBI. Corbin Lewallen also finished 2 for 3 with an RBI.

North Hall travels to Buford on Monday in a key region battle at 5:55 p.m.
