DACULA -- Flowery Branch staged a thrilling 2-1, come-from-behind win over Dacula Friday night in girls soccer action.

Dacula scored just two minutes into the second half to break a scoreless tie.

The score stayed that for just 10 minutes when the Lady Falcons (8-2-1) tied the game on a Corrie Thomas goal off a pass from Julia Sienkiewicz.

Flowery Branch got the game-winner with seven minutes left when Sienkiewicz finished a cross from Kimy McNeil with a header in the upper corner.

The Lady Falcons will be back in action on Tuesday when they play host to Clarke Central in a Region 8-AAAAA contest.
