LLI still recruiting seasonal workers

LAKE LANIER ISLANDS - The Georgia Department of Labor's (GDOL) Gainesville Career Center will continue a series of month-long recruitments on Saturday to help Lake Lanier Islands (LLI) Resort fill about 500 seasonal jobs.

The recruiting event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Peachtree Pointe, 7000 Lanier Islands Parkway in Buford. The event will focus on hiring lifeguards and water quality control workers at Lanierworld.

A week later, on March 29, the focus be on all positions, including food service, beverage workers, culinary team members, admissions personnel and retail workers, personnel to work on the beach at Lanierworld's water park, dock workers, and personnel to clean up the beach area, as well as lifeguards and water quality control workers at Lanierworld.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old on the day of the event. Salaries will depend on the position.
