DUNWOODY - Police say a man accused of impersonating an officer and stealing continental breakfast at a suburban Atlanta hotel has been arrested.

Dunwoody police spokesman Tim Fecht said in a release Wednesday that 36-year-old Roche Harris of East Point is charged with impersonating an officer, simple battery, theft by taking, loitering and prowling.

Fecht says beginning in December, Harris visited a Staybridge Hotel to get free continental breakfast although he wasn't a guest and wasn't visiting anyone staying there.

Fecht says staff confronted Harris and he assaulted a manager. Fecht says in February, Harris wore a badge and pretended to be a police officer before returning to the hotel again to take more breakfast food on Sunday. Fecht says police arrested Harris without incident.

It's unclear if he has an attorney.
