DAWSONVILLE -- Logan Burt did all he could from the mound and the plate on Tuesday -- but even a no-hitter was not enough to pull Dawson County through, as White County squeezed out a 1-0 win in Dawsonville.

Burt dazzled the Warriors line-up, striking out 15 batters, but White County (9-0, 4-0 Region 7-AAA) made the most of Burt's only hiccup, scoring on a wild pitch after two walks and a hit batter loaded the bases in the third inning.

Thanks to an equally-dominant Spencer Adams, it was all the Warriors needed.

Adams struck out 14 Tigers and surrendered just one hit and one walk -- both against Burt -- to help White County edge out the pitchers duel.

Dawson County (5-4, 0-4) will look to bounce back on Wednesday when North Hall travels to Dawsonville.

White County, meanwhile, will look to maintain its unblemished record at East Hall on Wednesday.
