Funeral services set for North Georgia, former Gainesville golfer Noble

GAINESVILLE -- Funeral services for University of North Georgia nursing student and women's golfer LeeAnn Noble will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at First United Methodist Church on Thompson Bridge Road in Gainesville. A reception will follow the service at the Chattahoochee Country Club, from 4-8 p.m.

Noble passed away on Monday morning at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta following a lengthy battle with heart complications.

The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home in Gainesville on Saturday, March 15, 2014, 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that contributions be made in memory of LeeAnn to the UNG Make-A-Wish Fund, P.O. Box 1599, Dahlonega, Georgia 30533.
