GAINESVILLE - A Banks County man has been charged with a residential burglary in the Rabbittown area.

Hall County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Nicole Bailes says Allen Eugene Eichholtz of Homer, who is 31, is charged with burglary in the first degree, theft by receiving and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Bailes said the break-in occurred March 4 at a house on Miller Drive.

"The burglary involved the theft of a motorcycle, firearms, and...hunting-related equipment."

Bailes added that the items have been recovered and returned to the owner.

She said Eichholtz also has outstanding warrants in Forsyth County and a "hold" has been placed on him for the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office.
