CLARKESVILLE - Georgia Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner Ralph Hudgens is seeking the public's help regarding last week's fire in Clarkesville.

Spokesman Glenn Allen said this afternoon investigators will return to the scene of the fire at Sweet Breads restaurants and on the Clarkesville Square later this week.

"The commissioner is seeking the public's help with information regarding this fire," Allen said. "We're not saying the fire was arson or was intentionally set, but we're seeking any information that might help investigators determine the cause."

The fire displaced 50 employees from about a half-dozen businesses.

Anyone with information about the fire can call the tip line at (800) 282-5804, Allen said.
