Tanner Gable helped lead the War Eagles at the plate, going 3-for-3 with two doubles, two runs scored and an RBI, while Jordan Browning went 2-for-4, with two runs, three RBI, a double and a stolen base. Eric George also had two hits, two runs, two stolen bases and an RBI, while Caleb Jameson and Peyton Rider each had two hit, including a double and Peyton Rider. Joey Scheman also had two hits and an RBI, and Jonathan Yearwood doubled and finished with two RBI.
Caleb Jameson earned the win on the mound, pitching six innings while giving up six hits, four runs (three earned) and four walks, while striking out 10.
The War Eagles will play Wheeler at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Gainesville.
