Gwinnett police search for missing girl

LAWRENCEVILLE - The Gwinnett County Police Department issued a statement Monday afternoon stating officers are investigating the disappearance of a 12-year-old girl.

The girl, identified as Kelsie Lee, was reported missing from home Monday morning at 8:45 a.m.

The police statement said the mother reported the child missing and told police she learned from another sibling that Kelsie walked outside the home on Jones Bridge Circle in Peachtree Corners to take out the trash and never returned.

Kelsie id described as 100 lbs., 5'-02" with long, light brown curly hair. She was last seen wearing jeans and a long black sweater with a western motif.
