Portion of damaged Clarkesville Square reopens

CLARKESVILLE - The east side of the Clarkesville Square has reopened to traffic and parking.
The area had been closed since about 11 p.m. Wednesday, when a fire at Sweet Breads restaurant that spread to the historic Square, damaging and destroying several businesses.
The city reports foot traffic remains restricted in hazardous areas.
