Perrin Reynolds, 91, Gainesville, died Monday.
Reynolds was a native of Clanton, Ala., who moved to Gainesville in 1951 to take a job with Laudermilk Insurance. One year later, he partnered with Ed Parks and Earl Day to launch Day, Reynolds and Parks where he worked for more than 30 years.
Reynolds was also a well-known figure on the golf course. A champion of the 1965 Gainesville City Tournament and many Member-Guest Tournaments in the Southeast, he could still be found on the links through his 90th year.
The funeral Saturday will be held at 11:00 in the chapel at First Baptist Church on Green Street in Gainesville.
