Units were called to the 1800 square-foot house on Beards Road off Lanier Islands Parkway around 9:45 p.m. The fire, which appeared to have started in the attic, looks to be accidental.
Two people living at the house were not injured, but they were displaced by the fire, according to Cagle. The American Red Cross was called to assist the pair.
Cagle did not have a damage estimate on the home.
