Lacrosse: Gainesville boys notch overtime defeat of MLK

GAINESVILLE -- Bill Hood netted the game-winning goal in double overtime on Tuesday, as the Gainesville boys lacrosse team notched its second straight victory, edging out M.L. King 5-4 in Gainesville.

John Wagner paced the Red Elephants with three goals in the win, while Triston Wimpye also scored.

Gainesville's Sam Terray notched 18 saves in goal.

The Red Elephants were coming off a 10-4 defeat of Forsyth Central on Monday.
