Baseball: Eggert leads Dawson County past Gilmer

DAWSONVILLE -- J.T. Eggert struck out 14 and allowed just two hits in leading Dawson County to a 3-0 win over Gilmer Tuesday.

Eggert also had two hits and two RBI at the plate for the Tigers (4-0). Levi Whitmire had two hits and one RBI for Dawson County.

Dawson County will complete the home-and-home series Wednesday traveling to Gilmer.
