Baseball: West Hall moves to 4-0 with defeat of Berkmar

OAKWOOD -- The West Hall baseball team moved to 4-0 on the season on Monday courtesy an 8-1 win over Berkmar on Monday in Oakwood.

The Spartans were led by Zach English, who tossed six innings on the mound while allowing just two hits and striking out six.

Meanwhile, Cameron Johnson blasted a two-run home run at the plate for West Hall, while Lincoln Stubbs and Michael Cronic each went 2-for-3.

The Spartans will play host to Jackson County on Wednesday.
