Memorial service scheduled for slain Forsyth Co. child

CUMMING - A memorial service is scheduled for Monday afternoon for the 3-year-old Forsyth County boy who died last week, allegedly at the hands of his mother's boyfriend.

Authorities on Friday revealed that Wyatt Pruitt died as a result of blunt force trauma. Christopher Truett, 25, of Butts County has been charged with murder in the death.

The memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Central Park in Cumming.
