GAINESVILLE - Hall County authorities have arrested a Braselton man they believe is responsible for the New Year's Eve robbery of the pharmacy inside an Ingle's grocery store.

Sheriff's Deputy Nicole Bailes said Chris O'Neal Forrester was arrested on
February 20 by the Hall County Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad for unrelated drug charges. Investigators had been developing leads in the December 31, 2013 incident and had enough evidence to bring charges against Forrester in that case, as well.

The robbery took place at 9 a.m. at the Ingle's Pharmacy on Winder Highway in Flowery Branch. The suspect in the incident told employees that he was armed, even though he never produced a weapon. The suspect fled the store with a quantity of pharmaceuticals. (See previous story linked below.)
