Four homes catch fire in Gwinnett neighborhood

LAWRENCEVILLE - One house has been destroyed and three others damaged in a fire that swept across part of a neighborhood in Lawrenceville Wednesday morning.

The home where the fire originated in the 2300 block of Morning Glory Lane was a total loss, according to Gwinnett County fire officials. Three vehicles at that house were damaged. Two homes to the left of the house of origin received heavy damage and a home to the right also sustained some fire damage.

Fire crews were called to the scene at 3:42 a.m.

Authorities said no one was hurt, but a total of seven adults and six children have been displaced as a result.

No word yet on how the fire started.
