School officials had said earlier this week that the survey would be taken through the end of the week. But Supt. Merrianne Dyer says it is being extended until Monday.
The school board last Monday decided to use March 17 for one of the make-up days and conduct the survey to help determine another. The choices are to use April 4 or have classes on a Saturday. (See earlier story. First link below.)
School systems all across north Georgia are looking for ways to make up someof the time lost this winter to snow and abnormally cold days. The state Board of Education on Thursday gave systems some leeway in deciding how to proceed. (See earlier story. Second link below.)
