CUMMING -- The North Forsyth girls won the Region 6-AAAAAA title Tuesday night with a tough 49-45 victory over county-rival South Forsyth.

The Lady Raiders turned up the defense in the second half holding South Forsyth to just 15 points.

Lochlain Corliss had another all-around game for North Forsyth with 13 points, four rebounds, three assits, and four steals before fouling out. Caroline Bowns had 14 points and four rebounds, and Avery Scarbrough added 11 points and eight rebounds for the Lady Raiders.

Sara Myers paced South Forsyth with 24 points. Kenyatte Storms had nine points and Ally Welch eight points for the Lady War Eagles.
