8-month-old killed in reported DUI-related crash in Smyrna

SMYRNA, Ga. (AP) -- Smyrna police say an 8-month-old baby was killed and two other children were injured when a man accused of drunk driving crashed into a taxi head on.<br /> <br /> Authorities say Darren Curry has been charged with driving under the influence and vehicular homicide in the Sunday morning crash on Windy Hill Road.<br /> <br /> Police have said the baby and two children, ages 3 and 7, were riding with curry. The 3-year-old suffered critical head injuries and the 7-year-old was also injured. Curry's relationship with the children is unclear.<br /> <br /> Police say three adults involved in the crash were hospitalized and none of the children were restrained properly.<br /> <br /> Authorities say a dog in the car was also killed in the crash. It's unclear if Curry has an attorney.
