CLEVELAND - Four Truett-McConnell College students were hurt in a sledding accident on campus Wednesday afternoon.

Cleveland Fire Chief Ricky Pruitt said one student suffered a broken leg, another had serious facial injuries and two others were treated at the scene and refused transport.

The student with the broken leg and the one with serious facial injuries were taken by ambulance to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville for treatment.

Pruitt said the students were sledding down a hill on campus and ran into a power pole.
