Boys basketball: Gainesville closes regular season with loss

CONYERS -- The Gainesville boys basketball team dropped a 61-58 contest to Salem on Friday in their final regular season game.

Nam Van Dulm led the Red Elephants (15-10, 8-8 Region 8-AAAAA) with 10 points.

Gainesville will begin play in the Region 8-AAAAA tournament on Wednesday at Apalachee High against Cedar Shoals.
