Boys basketball: Chestatee wins region play-in game

MONROE -- The Chestatee boys basketball team play its way into the Region 8-AAAA tournament via a resounding 85-48 win over Monroe Area on Saturday in Monroe.

Hunter Creamer scored 21 points and grabbed six rebounds, and Jordan Pulliam scored 21 points and recorded seven rebounds and seven assists in the win. Jordan Stubblefield also added 10 points and eight rebounds.

Chestatee plays Eastside at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Lanier with a chance to reach State Playoffs and advance to Region 8-AAAA semifinals.
