OAKWOOD- The search for a missing 32 year old Oakwood woman has been called off after Hall County authorities discovered a body not far from her home.

Hall County Sheriffs spokesperson Nicole Bailes says deputies were called around 10:45 a.m. Saturday to a treeline on Rain Tree Trace in Oakwood where the body was discovered. It was later determined it was the body of Holly Fox Strickland who had been missing since 10 p.m. Monday night.

Bailes said the body will be taken to the Dekalb County Medical Examiner's Office where they hope to learn the cause of death. There were no immediate signs of foul play at this point in the investigation.

Anyone with information regarding the death of Strickland is encouraged to contact the Hall County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division at 770-531-6879 or they may remain anonymous at 770-503-3232.
